ALL ABOUT U

Our Services

Depression is a persistent feeling of sadness, hopelessness, or emptiness, affecting mood, thoughts, and daily functioning, often accompanied by fatigue and loss of interest.

Anxiety is a feeling of worry, fear, or unease about future events, often accompanied by physical symptoms like restlessness, tension, and a racing heart.

Overcoming trauma involves processing painful experiences, healing emotional wounds, and regaining a sense of safety and control through therapy, support, and building healthy coping strategies.

Telehealth

Sessions are available by secure video or phone, anywhere in South Australia and beyond. Telehealth works well for most of what I offer, including counselling, CBT and EMDR, and it removes travel as a barrier if you are regional, unwell, managing a disability, or simply short on time.

Medicare rebates apply to telehealth sessions on the same basis as in-person appointments.

If you are unsure whether telehealth suits you, get in touch and we can talk it through.

Life’s challenges can affect our emotional well-being, whether they stem from personal struggles, relationship difficulties, or external stressors. My counselling services are tailored to help individuals and couples explore emotions, improve communication, and develop healthier coping strategies. We’ll work together to build stronger connections and foster personal growth.

I offer Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). These evidence-based approaches are designed to address a wide range of emotional and psychological concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Together, we’ll find the right approach that works best for you.

Mindfulness is a practical, evidence-based approach to working with anxiety, stress and racing thoughts. Sessions introduce breathing, body awareness and attention training you can use in daily life, with no prior experience needed.

Psychosocial Assessments and Functional Capacity Assessments

My comprehensive psychosocial assessments evaluate your mental health, social environment, and overall well-being. This service can provide insights into areas of concern, guiding appropriate interventions and support strategies to improve your quality of life. For individuals needing a detailed evaluation of their physical, mental, and emotional capacities, I offer functional capacity assessments. These assessments are essential for accessing appropriate services and support systems, ensuring you receive the resources you need to live independently and with dignity. My functional capacity assessments are designed to help individuals facing psychosocial challenges by identifying how these barriers impact their day-to-day lives. This assessment can serve as important evidence when applying for NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) funding, ensuring that you receive the necessary support and services to improve your quality of life and live more independently.

Medicare rebates and NDIS arrangements available.
